Wolverine
Born James Howlett, Logan (as he's known today) was involved in experiments at
the Weapon X laboratories. During these experiments, his memory was permanently
damaged and unbreakable adamantium reinforcements were added to his entire skeleton.
If it weren't for his extremely potent ability to heal, he wouldn't have survived.
These experiments left Logan with a virtually indestructible skeleton, adamantium
claws that slide out from between his knuckles, and no recollection of his past.
Since he escaped from the Weapon X laboratories, Logan has continued to hone
the powers he had before the experiments, as well as learning how to use the adamantium
claws and skeleton he was given. With his keen mutant senses, healing factor,
and animalistic instincts, he's a force to be reckoned with. Serving in a number
of teams, including Canada's Department H and the X-Men, he's become a fighting
force that few can match and fewer still can overcome. To be on the wrong side
of Wolverin's claws is to court defeat.
