Saga Frontier is one of the first rpg in which Squaresoft tries to give us something different instead of the usually linear storyline. The game sports several different characters, each with his or her own small short story quest in a non linear fashion. Saga Frontier became a big hit in Japan but in overseas market the game got a very mixed reaction. Despite that a sequel was made for this game.
