He is the noblest of all the knights in Doma. When the Empire, mainly Kefka, poisoned the water in Doma thus killing everyone except Cyan. Cyan vow revenge and joined the rebels in their fight against the empire.

Chi's Comments: Cyan is a decent fighter but not someone that should be put in the main party. He's better off as a member of a second unit. His sword technique can do really good damage but they take forever to get off.
