Celes is a former agent of the empire who was fused with magical powers. After many years in the service of the empire, Celes decides she had enough and wanted out. The empire had other plans for her and imprisoned her. She was freed by Locke and then joined the rebel cause against the empire.

Chi's Comments: Celes is a good magic users. Though her magic isn't as strong as Terra, Celes does have a special ability to absorb magic attacks from enemies thus diverting harm away from her teammates. She's very good as your second magic user in a second party.
