Tifa: Hurry up Cloud!!

*Cloud is badly wounded from the battle*

Cloud: Go on! I'll catch up!

Barret: I sho hope you know whatcha' doin' Cloud.

Red XIII: I hope so too!

Vincent: Oh, he knows what he's doing.

Cid: What the @#$%& are you talking about?!

*The rest of them my not know it, but Vincent and Cloud do. Sephiroth is
still alive, Cloud, AND ONLY CLOUD, must defeat him*

Cloud: Uh...I can't...keep...this...up much longer.

Familiar Voice: What's wrong Cloud? I thought you were stronger than this.

Cloud: SEPHIROTH!!!

*There is a bright flash of white light, and Sephiroth appears in front of
Cloud*

Sephiroth: You didn't think you could defeat me that easily, did you?

Cloud: He, he, he. Actually, I was expecting you.

Sephiroth: Of course, I should have thought better of you Cloud. After all,
you did go with me on missions.

Cloud: I learned how to be a better warrior from Zack, not you!

Sephiroth: Zack was a fool!! He was just a clone from me! And so are you.
You can almost say we're brothers you and I.

Cloud: Don't you dare think of us that way!! I'm nothing like you!! You
killed Aeris!! I...I loved her.

Sephiroth: Like I told you when I killed her. You really don't have any
feelings, you just think you do.

Cloud: That's not true!!! And if it were, you don't have much room to talk!
You're just a mindless slave for Jenova!

Sephiroth: Jenova is my mother! You should know how it feels. Oh, yeah! I
KILLED YOUR MOTHER!!

*A flashback of that day races through Cloud's mind, ending with the faces
of his mother, and then of Aeris*

Cloud: Like I said on that day, you've taken my family, my friends, and my
home. And I will make you pay....WITH MY SWORD!!!

Sephiroth: Come on Cloud! Show me what you have learned!!

*The two great warriors charge at each other with fierce speed and power.
Holding their swords high, they both take a swing of their blade towards
each other. Cloud stops, and hears a familiar voice inside his thoughts*

(Cloud....)

Cloud: Aeris?!

(Yes, Cloud.)

Sephiroth: What did he say?!

(Use it now Cloud. Use it to defeat him. I know you can)

Cloud: Are you sure?

(Yes. Do it for your friends and family. Cloud....Do it for me)

Cloud: Yes. Yes, I will.

Sephiroth: What is this fool talking about?!

*Cloud closes his eyes as a tear streams down his face. An aura appears
around him as he concentrates. Cloud re-opens his eyes, and in them, is the
burning hatred he has for Sephiroth. Cloud lunges towards Sephiroth as he
stands still, not knowing what is happening or what to do. Cloud hits him
with a fury of slashes and swipes. After about twenty-five swings of his
blade, Cloud falls to his knees. Cloud looks up and sees the stunned and
bloody face of Sephiroth. Sephiroth looks up, and explodes in a bright flash
of light. Cloud smiles, then falls over. He is knocked out. Cloud sees a
face of Aeris*

Aeris: Thank you Cloud. You set my spirit at ease.

Cloud: You're welcome

Aeris: Cloud, I love you.

Cloud: I....

*Tifa's hand comes through and Cloud grabs it. Tifa pulls him up, and onto
the Highwind*

*Later on the Highwind, Cloud is looking up towards the sky*

Cloud: I love you too.

Tifa: What did you say Cloud?

Cloud: Nothing....Nothing at all.

*Cloud closes his eyes, and falls asleep*
